Hannah’s 40 minute talk focused on how someone whose life ‘looks great’ from the outside can permit themselves to pursue transformation.  She talked about adventure, happenstance and the magical spiritual alchemy created through the process of journey.  After her talk, Hannah signed copies of The Mystical Backpacker and chatted with local readers in the audience.  It was especially exciting to have so many out-of-towners, including friends-of-friends who just happened to be in Vero!  Also, it was the first time Hannah’s name was on a billboard – exciting!

Holiday Prayer Flags Workshop
Bonita Woods Wellness Institute | Falls Church, VA
12.3.15 | 7:00-9:00pm

We added some intention to our holiday decorations and created a personalized holiday prayer flag to remind us of the true meaning of the holidays.  Our flags were horizontal Lung Ta style flags from the Tibetan tradition. Each flag represents one of the 5 Elements, or 5 Pure Lights (sky, wind, fire, water, earth). Each element corresponds with expressions and opportunities we experience throughout life. We enjoyed a deep meditation to experience the highlands of Tibet and the wisdom of the 5 Pure Lights.

Springbank Retreat Center | Kingstree, SC
10.23 – 10.25.15
Hannah Papp co-facilitated this rich curriculum with Soul Coach Christina Ann Sullivan.  Held at Springbank Retreat Center for eco-spiritual retreats, this weekend offered peaceful solitude in beautiful natural surroundings. Friday night’s welcome orientation was followed by a delicious dinner and then a bonfire with sacred drumming and transformative storytelling. Saturday morning offered classes in physical movement, followed by intense inner release work.  In the afternoon, we connected with our authentic selves and our inner power. Saturday night ended with a beautiful gift-giving ceremony. Sunday was all about creating To-Do lists to turn the fourth quarter of the year into fertile ground for manifesting our highest selves.  A spirit stick workshop and coffee shop exercise, sourced from Denise Linn‘s Soul Coaching program, ended the retreat.

TT6Transcendental Travel Workshop
Circles of Wisdom | Andover, MA
8.6.15 | 7:00-9:00pm
“Thank you to author Linda Howe for introducing me to shop owner Cathy, who welcomed me with open arms! It was so much fun to be someplace new (this was my first time in Andover) and I had a great time. Each workshop participant was there for a reason and it was very special to meet each soul and share that time together. Plus, I found treasures in the shop that I’ve not seen anywhere else and was glad to bring them home with me.”

“What a thrill to be set up on the boardwalk on a hot July night, talking with readers at one of my fave bookstore’s by the beach! I spoke with several aspiring authors (including two young girls!), a fan bought me an ice cream cone (yum!), and a rainbow appeared over my table.  Now that’s mystical! My sincere thanks goes out to Bethany Beach Books for choosing The Mystical Backpacker to be one of their Book of the Month selections.”

Book Launch Party!
Author Talk & Book Signing
KramerBooks on Dupont Circle | Washington, DC
5.11.15 | 6:30-7:30pm
“It was a dream come true for me to launch the book here at this landmark bookstore in DC.  I remember when I first moved to DC I would spend hours in here, scanning the titles and reading and meeting friends for brunch. Little did I know I would be here years later as a published author, with my own book shelved among the titles.”
